Spaghetti for Dinner

I just had to post these pictures of Colin enjoying spaghetti for dinner, or as I used to call it when I was little "spusgetti". I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Spaghetti was my favorite food growing up....lots of noodles with marinara sans the hamburger meat. As you can see Colin just can't get enough of the noodles. I must add that he's actually gotten pretty good about using his fork and spoon except when it comes to this dish. I'm not sure where he learned to eat like this.

Who is that in the background?? A certain cat I know loves marinara sauce too.

Mallory's First Birthday - Tennessee

Colin, Mallory, and Aunt Betsy playing with the new kitchen set. Things have come a long way since we were kids....this kitchen has all kinds of neat gadgets.

Colin showing off on the slide at the playground in Eastman Cabins. We took him for a quick trip to the playground while waiting for all the guests to arrive.

Mallory enjoying her first Birthday Cake!! Go Mallory!!

The Birthday Girl in her special chair! Mallory did great opening her birthday gifts!! Maybe Colin took notes and will actually sit still to open his gifts this year.

Colin telling Mallory how to steer her new Cozy Coupe. Already a backseat driver??

Colin playing with dad in the creek. It sure was cold in April!!

Easter Bunny

Colin's first Easter bunny basket!! The Easter bunny sure was generous this year...so much stuff it wouldn't all fit in the basket.

Colin playing tee ball Easter Sunday afternoon with his Easter bunny tee ball gift. He loves counting to three and swinging at the ball. You can see from the look on dad's face that he's trying pretty intently to teach him the proper way to hold the bat. Uncle Chippy and Dad are all about teaching Colin to be hard core at sports.

Colin enjoying his first ever traditional Easter time Peep!! I forgot just how sweet and sugary they are. He seemed to like them okay but luckily wasn't begging for more.

I love this picture of Colin touching the Gila Monster. It was all smooshy with rice like stuff inside and rubbery reptile skin on the outside. His face says it all!!
